Sac Meeting Minutes February 14, 2012
Present: Ina Andre, Michelle Ortlip, Sibel Suman, Fran Finnigan, Donna Lowell Debbettencourt , Michael Halt
Absent: Jill lane
The following Meeting Minutes were approved as written: November 18, 2011, December 13, 2011 and January 10, 2012
Donna discussed the possibility of doing an outreach for community members to join SAC. It would be beneficial to tap in to the senior population in WT.
Donna mentioned that Kathy Logue would be a good candidate.
It was noted for the possibility of doing a joint SAC meeting with the high school.
SLE: Michelle and Ina discussed their observations from the recent SLE:
One of the goals for the SAC committee would be to share the SLE highlights with the West Tisbury FINCOM.

SLE: Michelle and Ina discussed their observations from the recent SLE:
- Students were able to articulate clearly what they were learning
- Comfortable learning atmosphere
- Teachers were tuned in to each kids projects
- Technology was incorporated well in the learning process of non technical subjects
- Lots of writing in all content areas
